Wall Accent Hand Crocheted in Mexico, ‘See No Evil in Yellow’

The eye-shaped talisman known as a i nazar /i in Turkey and elsewhere is recreated by Mexican artisan Martha Fonseca. She crochets the wall accent by hand from colorful yarns. The talisman is believed by many cultures to offer protection from the “evil eye”.
