Artisan Crafted Wood and Papier Mache Decorative Box, ‘Kashmir Flowers’

Flowers bloom profusely across this petite decorative box from Fida Hussein in India. It is crafted of weeping willow wood and covered with papier mache. It is then carefully painted by hand with colorful oil paints, and completed with a coat of lacquer. The small box is lined with velvet to hold small treasures.
